Scheduling a campaign or survey on Mteja is a straightforward process:
Create the Campaign/Survey
Draft your message or survey and upload your list of recipients. Ensure your content is tailored to the audience and aligned with your campaign objectives.Set the Time and Date
Choose the exact time and date you’d like your campaign to be sent. This ensures your messages reach your audience at the most effective moment, whether it’s during working hours or a specific event.Review and Schedule
Confirm all details, including your content, recipient list, and schedule. Once satisfied, hit the schedule button, and Mteja will take care of the rest.

Billing Information for Scheduled Campaigns
Credits Check at the Time of Sending
Unlike the previous system where credits were pre-billed, Mteja now checks your account’s credit balance at the time of sending. If sufficient credits are available, the campaign will proceed as scheduled.Retry Mechanism for Insufficient Credits
If your account doesn’t have enough credits, the system will retry every 2 hours until the campaign is sent or cancelled. The user who scheduled the campaign will receive an email notification for each failed attempt due to insufficient credits.Subscription Requirements
Scheduled campaigns are available only for Business and Enterprise plans.
If your account is downgraded to the Basic plan or deactivated due to non-payment, scheduled campaigns will fail, and their status will update to
billing_failure
. Maintaining an active subscription is crucial for uninterrupted service.
