How do I set up an outbound survey on Mteja?
Under Campaigns, Click on Create New on the right-hand side then select the channel WhatsApp.
Select the Campaign type as Surveys
Provide a name and description of the survey and click on the SCHEDULE FOR LATER button.
Next, input the survey details, select the shortcode and choose whether to use an existing SMS flow or to Create a New SMS flow. Click here to see the step-by-step process of creating a flow. Include your Question timeout (A question timeout in a chatbot refers to the maximum amount of time the chatbot waits for a response from the user after asking a question.)
Here you also choose if you want to allow the recipients to participate in the survey multiple times.
Click Next, if you have selected to use an existing WhatsApp flow, or you are choosing to create a new one, you can edit the flow before saving it as part of your survey. Here you have to add your previously created template message, as a business-initiated survey, a template message needs to go out first.
Next, select your survey recipients by either selecting a CSV file or selecting already uploaded contacts on the platform.
Next, select the Schedule time, the outer circle is the AM circle, while the inner circle is the PM in the 24-hour clock.
Fill in the details, select how often you would like to send out the message. Select the time that you would like the message.
You have the option to select a multiple repeat cycle, in the event that it is a regular campaign. You can select either specific days of the week, month or year. Here is where the Last Day is utilised. The Last day option allows you to select when your multiple (days of the week, month or year) scheduled campaign will end.
Once you have selected your date and time, Click on Next to preview the schedule:
Click on the Schedule button, and once completed, a Success Pop-up message will show.
Once you close the setup process, you will have a view of your waiting scheduled survey.
