Bulk SMS, Regular SMS, Custom SMS

Here are the steps to send a bulk message to your recipients.

Upon logging into the dashboard, select your APP,

Click on the Campaigns button from the menu

Click on the CREATE CAMPAIGN button on the right side of the page.


Select the channel and type, then provide a name and description, after that click Create.

Once created, you will view an insights page for the campaign created. Then click on Send Broadcast on the right side of the page.

Next, select the type of message you are sending out.

Click on the FROM button and select the channel to be used; that is Sender ID, Shortcode or Keyword, from the drop-down list:

Click on SAVE

Click on the TO button, to select the recipients: this can be done by attaching an Excel File, or Contacts on the platform e.g. selecting a tag or manually by typing the number. (In the example below, contacts are uploaded via an Excel file in .xlsx format.)

Click on the Message button, and type in your message. Click on the SAVE button

Click on the SEND BROADCAST button at the bottom of the page;

To preview the message before sending, which includes; costs and the number of recipients etc

Click on the SEND button to complete the process

Click the CLOSE then click on the Campaign to view the insights. Click on the VIEW BUTTON on the right side of the page to access the logs for the campaign sent out.

Here is a view of the logs

What do the delivery statuses mean?
Delivered: The message has been successfully delivered to the recipient.
Sent: The message has been sent to the telecom network, awaiting a delivery report.
Failed: The telecom network was unable to deliver the message (learn more here)

The record is Exportable in an Excel format for analysis, click on the export icon on the top right corner of the SMS logs.
