Mteja allows businesses to run two-way engagements over SMS where they can send and receive feedback from their customers. This is made possible by the SMS channels i.e. Dedicated short codes and shared shortcodes (learn more).
Here's how to set up your team inbox.
How to run conversations on Team Inbox?
Click on Team Inbox from the navigation menu, then click on a conversation from Unassigned, Assigned to Me or All.
Click on a conversation from the list.
To respond, click on the message box and type your response. By default, the response channel will be on SMS
Select the shortcode before clicking the send button.
Optional: You can make general notes about the conversation, or mention an agent in it.
or comment to another agent to collaborate, by clicking the @ symbol
5. Assign a conversation to yourself or another agent by clicking at the top of the conversation and selecting from the list of agents available.
How to start a conversation from the team inbox?
Click on SEND, then select SMS message
Select the Shortcode you want to use.
Input the phone number, or type in the name saved on the platform. Type the messages and click Send
The messages will appear in the message list on the Team Inbox. Any responses will also appear in the team inbox.
To view the delivery report, on Team Inbox the message will have two ticks
You can also click on Insights, then SMS Logs on the right-hand side of the page for the delivery report for the message
