The Contact Query is a CRM feature that optimises customer interactions by routing conversations through conditional logic based on specific contact attributes, whether on Two-way SMS, WhatsApp, or USSD.

How do I add a Contact Query to a Chatbot?

In the following guide articles; we provide a step-by-step guide on creating chatbots: Two-Way SMS, WhatsApp and USSD.

You will find the Contact Query option under the CRM ACTIONS in each of the above-mentioned Chatbot flows.

Once you drag and drop the Contact Query action, select the attributes for the query, this can be one attribute or a combination of multiple attributes listed. Those who fit the criteria set will fall in the Yes Menu while the rest of the contacts will fall under the No Menu.

Once you have inputted your attributes, drag and drop the rest of the actions based on your customer journey.

Once you have built your chatbot, set it live on your preferred channel.
